What is Grad Night?

To provide a fun and safe way for our seniors to celebrate the ending of their high school career with their friends, the NKHS PTSA sponsors and puts on a non-school or non-district affiliated, epic, time-honored Grad Night party! The first stop is top-secret, but we can share that after the graduation ceremony on graduation night, they will be in good hands as they’re whisked away on chartered buses to one surprise destination then off to Silverwood in Athol, Idaho filled with fun activities, entertainment, catered food, and non-alcoholic drinks. Security and chaperones will keep everyone safe. Pickup will be early on Sunday morning.

Hello Seniors and Parents:
This year the Senior Grad Night Committee has planned the most outrageous senior trip. The seniors are going to Silverwood Theme Park/Boulder Beach Waterpark in Athol, Idaho.

Those hearing about this destination for the first time usually have one very important question, How Can You Do That? The answer is - with a lot of support from Senior Parents, fundraising, donors and enthusiastic seniors, it will be a breeze. The itinerary listed below will help you understand how such a big trip is possible.

The students (and chaperones) will meet and board buses immediately following Graduation.

Immediately after loading, the buses will head to a mystery venue, where the graduates will have several hours to celebrate their achievement, play, dance and eat. After that, they will board the buses and head for Spokane (and hopefully rest during the ride).

In Spokane, the group will stop for a hearty breakfast at a predetermined location and then once again board the buses and head to Silverwood/Boulder Beach. Once at Silverwood, they will have all day to ride roller coasters, see shows, swim, eat, splash down water slides, and lay in the sun.

At the end of the day, the entire group will meet for a BBQ dinner, then board the buses and head for home, very tired, very happy, and full of great lifelong memories. The graduates will be gone between 28 and 32 hours. The actual return time will be firmed up as we get closer to the event.

How much will it cost?
Tickets to the All-Night and Next-Day Senior Grad Night Party are $80.00. This fee covers transportation, mystery venue, food and dance, a super yummy breakfast, all day pass to Silverwood/Boulder Beach and two meals while there. To guarantee your spot and this price, payment must be received by December 31, 2023. On January 1, the price will increase to $100.00. Ticket sales close on May 15th. We will only be able to take the first 125 students. And spots will fill up fast!
