ABOUT

Mission:

A powerful voice for children, a relevant resource for families, schools and communities and a strong advocate for the well-being and education of all children.  This is the mission for the State of Washington PTA and it is equally the mission of the North Kitsap High School PTSA.

Why PTSA:

Parent Teacher Association (PTA)/Parent Teacher Student Association (PTSA) is a recognized group of parents and teachers (and students) that work together for the benefit of the school and ultimately our children.

The National PTA is the oldest and largest child advocacy association in America. Today's PTA/PTSA is comprised of 5 million parents, teachers, grandparents, caregivers, foster parents and other caring adults who share a commitment to improving the education, health, and safety of all children. We speak with one voice for every child.

In high school, many parents and students question why and what PTSA does.  Our goal, as is our mission is to advocate and support the needs of students, families and administration.  Your membership not only provides you multiple benefits and discounts, but the money also supports the Senior Grad Night, Season of Giving, End of School Year Carnival, plans and funds monthly staff appreciation and scholarships for students.
